So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Spending a summer as a Summer Missionary at Crossings is a beyond words experience. It is humbling, growing, challenging, and truly the best way I could have spent the last two summers. It is SO much more than a job... more encouraging, more meaningful, more impactful because you are proclaiming the Gospel with every thing you do! Even more incredible, I got to do it all alongside people who became my family. God used my time as a summer missionary to teach me about who He is, who He says I am, and how the Gospel shines through in every single situation. I love this place, these people, and how our God is using it all!

While serving with Crossings On Mission in Chicago, it was so humbling to see the faithfulness of the church planters as they serve in a city that is so broken. God called them to a place that needs to hear about Him, and they are continuing to do His work even when it’s difficult. Leading and serving alongside students and churches as they worked with church planters and shared the Gospel in the city was something I will never forget. I’m so grateful that Crossings On Mission allowed me to be a small part of what God is doing in places like Chicago.
