Building more lodging to help more students cross from death to life.

One summer.
Eternal impact.
Will you help?

Students arrive at camp defined by the world. Then the Gospel sets them free. The trajectory of their life changes as they embrace their new identity in Christ—impacting their friends, family, and future. One summer has the potential to spark exponential Kingdom growth. Will you join us in Crossing Forward to reach even more students for Christ?

THE NEED IS GREAT

4,000 students are on the Crossings waitlist.

Since Crossings began in 2000, our mission has remained the same: to proclaim the Gospel. We have witnessed transformed lives summer after summer as campers cross from death into a new identity in Christ.

But the need is outpacing our capacity. We don’t want to miss what God is doing in the lives of campers because we don’t have enough space. As long as God continues to graciously use Crossings, we want to be ready.

That’s why we’re launching Crossing Forward—an exciting initiative to fund two new lodges in two years, increasing our capacity for campers and increasing our Kingdom impact.

Expanding Capacity at Jonathan Creek and Cedarmore by 2026

Building two new lodges will allow us to welcome up to 5,520 more students every summer—or 110,400 students over the next two decades. That’s 110,400 more students who will be exposed to the Gospel in a distraction-free, fun-filled camp setting. Are you in?

camp stories
I have been going to Crossings since 6th grade. Each summer I was there, I always felt moved one way or another. After many summers of going there, Crossings, its counselors, the students around me, and church leaders helped me take the step over the line and help me profess my faith to the Lord. If it was not for Crossings, I would not be where I am today.

camp stories
I have grown up in the church and been taught the Bible from a young age. However, I didn’t take the Gospel seriously until I was in middle school. One summer, my youth group went to Crossings and during worship, the Holy Spirit convicted me of how great my sin was and how much I needed Christ as my Savior. The Lord has used and is continuing to use Crossings to grow me and mold me to be more like Jesus. Crossings Ministries has helped fuel a love for the Gospel and seeing others come to know Christ.

camp stories
Crossings helped me truly die to myself and live what it was like to be a better servant. Coming back home from camp I was a completely different person. I was confident, energetic for the Lord, and just overall more excited to share the gospel with everyone. To this day, I truly believe without Crossings in my life I would not be the same person as I am today. The Lord worked through Crossings to show me how wonderful and how great and how magnifying the Lord is. Love God, love people, be a servant.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

The construction cost for each lodge is $2.5 million. We need $5 million to build both lodges. As of February 2024, the Crossing Forward Campaign was 20% funded with $1 million, with an additional $4 million still to be raised.

We will break ground on the Jonathan Creek lodge in 2024 and open it for camp in 2025. We will break ground on the Cedarmore lodge in 2025 and open it for camp in 2026. Crossing Forward is a 2-year initiative to raise $5 million for the construction of the lodges.

Crossings is sold out! For the second straight year we are at capacity with a large waiting list of churches hoping to register for camp this summer. There has never been a greater need than now to add space for more campers at our existing properties.

1. Pray that God will connect us with individuals and organizations who want to be a part of the team sharing the Gospel with the next generation.
2. Share about Crossing Forward and what God is doing through Crossings with those in your sphere of influence.
3. Connect our team with your friends and family that God brings to your mind as Gospel patrons. Gospel patrons are praying and looking for opportunities to invest their resources in Kingdom work. This connection might just be the Kingdom work they are looking to join.
4. Consider giving a monthly or one-time gift to reach 100,000 more students through Crossings over the next decade.

The lodges will have five meeting areas—two indoor and three covered.
