Let the countdown begin! With less than 20 weeks until the camp season starts, Crossings has issued a challenge for everyone attending this summer — the #GIVE20 challenge. By saving one dollar every week from now until camp, you can help make an impact for the Gospel work in Haiti.
Last year, Crossings launched the #GIVE20 campaign as a way to encourage students to go beyond and partner with Crossings in Haiti. Many caught the vision, and it lead to an overwhelming response. So, as we prepare for this coming summer, we are asking you to once again join us and help support the work of Crossings and the Baptist Haiti Mission at Camp LaPhare.
The challenge is for each of us to begin setting aside one dollar every week, and to come prepared to give 20 dollars toward the Haiti offering on the first night of camp.
Not only are we challenging you, but we are challenging ourselves as well. Each Crossings staff member has their own #GIVE20 jar, and every Monday during staff meeting we have committed to bring one dollar to place it in our jar. This is a simple way for us to beginning praying through, and saving for, our missions offering this summer. We challenge you to begin doing the same!
There are plenty of creative ways for group leaders to encourage their students to start collecting their offering. Also, as a small way for Crossings to encourage group leaders, on this website we have provided several promotional videos, downloadable logos and slides and even a free label template you can use to create your own personal #GIVE20 Challenge jar.
We are excited to see the amazing ways the Lord will move through the students at camp this summer, and also the amazing ways their offering will help to spread the Gospel in Haiti.
