Student Renew Weekends

Bible Study Theme

God will renew all things. This is the essence of the gospel and the heartbeat of Jesus’ mission. God renews the heart of those who repent and believe, enabling his saints to secure victory over sin and pursue the joyful life of obedience. God renews the purpose of those who believe, urging his people to love others rather than themselves. God renews the mindset of those who believe, causing his friends to eagerly anticipate the promised eternal and abundant life. God promises to renew the place of those who believe, giving his faithful a living hope for a new earth free of the curse, free for work and play, and free to enjoy God’s glorious presence forever. Join us this Fall, escape the distractions of the pandemic, reset, and be refreshed by God’s word. Come to taste, see, and hope in God’s great promises to renew everything from the souls of men to the foundations of the earth.

Camp Pastor: Anthony Knight view bio

Anthony Knight

Anthony Knight was born and raised in Nashville, TN where he found his love for sports. Football and fitting in with the athletic crowd were what he found his identity in. This led to a few years of walking in darkness before he was grabbed by the Lord at age 19 in his second year of college. As he played football for a small university in Lebanon TN, his passions for football began to dwindle as he became familiar with God’s Word. The more he read about God the more he wanted to share what he learned. This passion continued to increase as he began being mentored by Pastor Erik Reed, the pastor of the Journey Church, within walking distance from the University. Throughout the months of being mentored, he was offered an internship position at his church, which opened his eyes to teaching and preaching. After his internship, Anthony started a Young Adult ministry there to minister to the college age and young professionals in his area. He lead this ministry for approximately three years and now he is the Associate Pastor at the Journey Church Mt. Juliet Campus! When he is not assisting in leading this campus he is preaching at Discipleship Nows and Student Conferences/Camps, studying for his Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and being a husband and father to his wife and son.
